These are two paintings of my dad's border collie Gyp
The first one is a detailed oil on
illustration board I did, I painted it in detail...each whisker...I enjoyed doing this painting, he was such an intense dog, if he was working, he was focused and I wanted to capture that.
The second painting is the opposite side of Gyp, the funny side...and the painting is done in very loose brush strokes with use of pallette knife...two sides of a border collie, two styles of painting.
