This is a post from this spring, I am going to post it again, as  the sun comes out and the little calves lie around sunning themselves...the memories of days of snow, cold, wind and mud start to fade...as the mud dries...

It's a catch twenty two for ranchers, the
moisture is a necessity and many times it comes in the form of snow and rain during the calving season...so, it becomes part of the calving season...

Ranchers do the best they can with what mother nature brings forth...and look forward to the days of spring and summer rains, sunshine and green grass.
