As the green grass starts appearing over the prairie and we wait for the rains to replenish the soil, we welcome the beauty of the wild flowers that will begin to sprinkle the prairie.

This painting (from the archives) was
one done on location of the prairie flowers overlooking the badlands. 

I did the painting with water based oil paint on heavy stock tinted paper board.
