This is a painting I did in 2004 for the USBCHA- U S Border Collie Handler's Association - which was being held in Sturgis, SD that year.

The dog is Joni Swanke's dog- I worked from several photos of her dog working the sheep- the sun was coming from behind the dust from moving the sheep.
