Things could go one way or the other....in a split second...depending on the quickness of the bullfighters.......it seems as though everything is frozen on pause....the bullfighter with one foot off the ground, the bull with a foot in the air, the cowboys on the fence...even the dust...
I used photos I took at the ND High School Rodeo Finals for the painting.
I should add, the bullfighters were fast, very fast! In a split second, almost faster than the human eye could take in, the bull's attention went to the pros and the high school bullrider walked away to ride again.
