There has been a lot of interest in this painting in the last few days....today is the anniversary of the day we lost our dad, forever changing our lives...I was lucky that I was able to trot alongside my dad alot of the time...all I wanted to be was a cowgirl! Thus why I paint what I do and why certain things capture my attention. Here is what I wrote about the painting when I did it a few years ago.
